Microsoft Now Lets You Build a Free Website, Here’s How To Do it
Microsoft has now launched a new website builder that will let you build a free website for your business. Microsoft’s new builder will also import relevant website data directly from your Facebook page at no extra charge.
According to Microsoft, 36pc of businesses do not have a website, this is while 80pc of customers said they would look up a company online before they either visited or purchased something. This means that without a website, a small business could lose those potential customers in a grim warning.
How to Build a Free Website with Microsoft
- head over to To get started, Microsoft’s Digital Marketing Center and sign up for an account or log in.
- Create an advertising campaign and choose “I don’t have a website. Help me build one for free”.
- Enter your business name
- Type in the URL you want to use for your website
Microsoft says you can create your site without creating an ad campaign. You can then either import information from your business’s Facebook page or build it yourself.
You can choose from the following components to add to your website: headline and description, customer action button (call now, send an email, get quotes, etc.), cover image, business summary, social posts, reviews, gallery, business contact information, social links.
