Samsung Galaxy Galaxy Premium goes on sale April 6
Samsung has finally revealed the official release date for the latest Galaxy Chromebook. This premium Chromebook laptop is promised that Samsung can be purchased starting April 6, 2020.
The availability of this is for the United States market (US) and can be obtained at the Samsung Store or Best Buy with prices starting at USD 999 or around Rp 15.9 million (1 USD = Rp 16,000). Not yet known when availability in other countries follows.
Quoted from 9to5 Google, this device comes in Mercury Gray and Fiesta Red colors that look more bright orange. This is the first Chromebook that displays a 4K AMOLED screen (3840 × 2160) measuring 13.3 inches.
Galaxy Chromebook is also equipped with a processor that is claimed to be more powerful than most Chromebooks, namely the 10th generation Intel chip which is supported by 8GB RAM RAM (LPDDR3) and 256GB SSD.
When this device was first exhibited in January at the CES 2020 event, Samsung indicated that there would be additional configurations that present up to 16GB RAM and 1 TB SSD. But it seems that Samsung undo this model, so that only basic variants are offered.
This 2 in 1 device has a 9.9 mm thick body. This laptop is also the first Chromebook that supports Ambient EQ for setting color balance and color temperature. The advantage of this feature, the content will automatically adjust to sunlight (when used outdoors) or watch videos and play games in dark conditions.
The touch screen on this Chromebook is equipped with S Pen which is placed right on the chassis for easy note-taking and browsing. Other completeness, there are two USB-C ports, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 47.9Wh battery that can last 8.4 hours. In addition, there is a fingerprint sensor, 1MP webcam, 8MP world-facing lens, dual speakers, and WiFi 6.
