Those WhatsApp users who just want to move from Android to iOS or vice versa, you’d definitely feel confused when looking for how the WhatsApp chat history can be moved. This is because, until now, WhatsApp still has not provided support for transferring chat backups from one platform to another.

However, recently, WABetaInfo announced that WhatsApp is making a migration feature that allows Android users to move their data to iOS, and vice versa.

There is even a leaked screenshot showing a menu display that says ‘Move chats to Android’ where users have to update to the latest WhatsApp version to do this.

If this leak is true, this feature will help WhatsApp users who are planning to move to another operating system and don’t want all the chats on their previous device to just disappear.

Unfortunately, there is no information on when this feature will be presented, although you can already move chats from whatsapp to telegram. WhatsApp sometimes takes a while to release a new feature because they have to test it first. What do you think about this new feature? Do you think you’ll be needing this in the near future? Kindly share with us your thoughts using the comment box below.
